Visa Information

Travelling to Madrid

Participants travelling to Madrid, Spain, are responsible for checking the passport and visa requirements applicable to their nationality and country of residence.

Spain is part of the Schengen Area. Depending on your nationality, you may be required to obtain a Schengen visa before travelling to Spain to attend the E&E Congress 2028.

We strongly recommend checking the applicable entry requirements and beginning the visa application process well in advance of your planned travel dates.

Do I need a visa?

Visa requirements vary according to nationality, country of residence and individual circumstances.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information, participants should consult the official website of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation or contact the Spanish Embassy or Consulate responsible for their place of residence.

Invitation Letter

Visa Support Letters are available to participants who have completed their registration and paid the registration fee in full.

Once your registration and payment have been completed, you will receive a Registration Confirmation Letter, which will include a link to request your official Visa Support Letter from the E&E Congress 2028 Organising Secretariat.

Please note that the Visa Support Letter is issued solely to support your visa application for attendance at the Congress. It does not guarantee that a visa will be granted, and the final decision remains with the relevant embassy or consular authorities.

Important

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they hold the appropriate travel documents and for completing all required visa procedures. The E&E Congress 2028 Organising Secretariat, EAPA and Eurobitume cannot intervene in the visa application process or influence the decision of any embassy or consular authority.
